Tamil Genocide Education Week in Ontario

In 2019, bill 104, Tamil Genocide Education Week Act, successfully passed 2nd Reading in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. For months now, the bill hasn't moved any further and the Conservative Government has yet to release plans for when they plan to pass the bill and implement it into law.

This important bill will give the Tamil community the opportunity to recognize the genocide committed by the Sri Lankan Government, and educate the wider community about the injustice they are still faced with today.

It's a critical step in the pursuit of justice and healing, and the Conservative government has the power to pass it right now. No more stalling – add your name now and demand the Conservative Government pass bill 104 and implement a Tamil Genocide Education Week in Ontario.
